Following the lead of Kendall Jenner, Nicole Richie’s younger sister Sophia is the latest to join the wave of celeb siblings scoring contracts with the worlds most elite modelling agencies. Select Model Management announced their excitement in representing 16-year-old Sophia early this morning, accompanying their revelation with photographs from a recent shoot that prove her as a natural in front of the camera.

As the youngest daughter of Lionel Richie and BFF to Kylie and Kendall Jenner as well as Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris, Sophia is no stranger to the celebrity lifestyle nor the world of high fashion. Her famous older sister Nicole is an icon in the industry and frequently uses her Instagram account to share behind-the-scenes snaps of the two attending exclusive fashion events. Nicole even acted as Creative Director on one of Sophia’s recent shoots sharing that she took on the role with ‘tears of joy, jealousy and rage’.

Sophia also makes good use of social media, using her Tumblr and Instagram pages to provide a peek into her enviable LA lifestyle and chic minimal wardrobe, which is said to be inspired by her style icons the Olsen twins and their brand, The Row. So far she has featured in shoots for Flaunt magazine and Who What Wear and appeared on the runway during September’s New York Fashion Week. With a contract at an agency that manages the likes of Kelis, Pixie Geldof and Devon Aoki we can expect to see a lot more of the young model in the coming year.
