When it comes to famous actors and their guilty pleasures, you could forgive us for pegging the well-spoken, privately educated Robert Pattinson (who calls himself Robert, not Robbie) as a Made In Chelsea viewer. However, the ever-so-slightly foppish former Twilight actor, who grew up in south west London, has revealed that he's not actually into the constructed reality show based near his old stomping grounds, but in fact Geordie Shore.
He told MTV – who will undoubtedly be happy for the promo – at the Cannes premiere of his new film, The Rover: 'I love English reality TV. I like Geordie Shore. It's like the Jersey Shore of England. It's amazing, one of the greatest TV shows I have ever seen in my entire life.'
Why does he like it so much? Because they're not there for us to laugh at, he says: 'And it's not really laughing at people because I don't really like that kind of reality TV, the people in it, you genuinely really like them, it's crazy.'
He's not the only breakout star of a successful fantasy movie franchise to discuss his love for a reality show – Jennifer Lawrence revealed earlier this year that, as well as fish and chips, she's pretty keen on an episode or two of TOWIE.
What next? Emma Watson expressing an interest in Ex On The Beach? Stranger things have happened...
