It looks as if Lindsay Lohan's OWN reality show,* Lindsay* (naturally), is saving all the most interesting truth-bombs until last, because she's now said that the leaked, hand-written sex list, is real!
Although we had our reasons to believe it was fake – the date it was discovered was misreported, the story behind it (that it was written while Lindsay was on a night out with pals) didn't add up and the list didn't include people she'd had relationships with, such as Harry Morton on Samantha Ronson – it is utterly real!
That's not to say Lindsay is particularly proud of the world seeing the list, (which includes Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron, Colin Farrell, James Franco, Heath Ledger, Adam Levine, Ashton Kutcher, Benicio Del Toro, Ryan Phillipe, Jamie Dornan and so on) because it was written as part of her 12 Step Alcoholics Anonymous recovery programme during a rehab stint and was only meant to be seen by her sponsor: 'That was a part of my [time at] Betty Ford. It's step number five or step number eight'
'It's your sexual inventory. That was in my Betty Ford book, so that was really personal to my sponsor. You write that for your sponsor."
Just FYI, why the list may not include everyone she's ever slept with (no Calum Best?!), could be in part down to the fact that Step 5 of recovery is admitting the exact nature of one's wrongs, and Step 8 is listing all who one has harmed. Maybe the list is only the sexual hook-ups she regrets? Or all of the people she's hurt? Especially considering many of the men are now married and others are blanked off from the photo of the list for legal reasons. 'I don't care about me in that situation. I care about the people that are involved with other people because it's really unfortunate and disrespectful.'
As for the person who leaked the photo of the list? Well, she feels very sorry for them. In the show, she says: 'The fact that that happened was not only humiliating, but just mean. It was mean-spirited for someone to do that.'
In a very mature way, she wants them to become a better person: 'That is a desperate human being and I hope they find some peace. Because anyone that's willing to do that to someone else is really fucked up in the head. And I don't want that in my life.'
