Beyonce Could Be In (Another) New Disney Remake

We very much want this one to happen...

Beyonce’s Gonna Be In A New Disney Re-make – But Which One?

Cinderella, The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, it seems like all the Disney classics are being re-made. Not that we’re complaining, ESPECIALLY if Queen Bey is on the cards to play a leading role in… wait for it….

The Lion King!

Beyoncé has been asked to voice the part of ‘Nala’ in Disney’s new Lion King movie. This childhood staple of ours was originally produced in 1994, but it’s going to be bigger and better this time with enhanced CGI.

Now of course, we all know Beyoncé is pregnant with twins, which is why she recently pulled out of Coachella. So, will this be too much to take on? Fair enough if so. But we would absolutely love to hear her molten gold voice play the lovely Nala in this classic re-make. If so, she will feature alongside James Earl Jones as Mufasa and Childish Gambino as Simba.

The movie will be directed by Jon Favreau, who has declared that Beyoncé is his ‘top choice’ and will do ‘whatever it takes’ to get her in!

Beyonce has clearly got skilllls when it comes to acting (we LOVED her in Dreamgirls and Austin Powers) and has already voiced the character of Queen Tara in the animation Epic in 2013. So how could she resist The Lion King? Fingers crossed!
