Yes, we know, everything is bad for us these days – here’s the full list of everything that apparently gives you cancerto prove it.

And we all know that sugar is the worst of the worst of the worst, which is why the World Health Organisation recommends that you consume no more than 30g of sugar a day.

Bad news for all you lovers of Christmas drinks, because they’re basically 99% sugar and 1% hot steamed milk. A Costa hot chocolate, for example, is 661 calories and has 24 teaspoons of sugar. And that’s not even slightly the worst of it. Read on and maybe put that red cup down for now.
