It sure feels nice even if I’m not sure what it’s doing

If like me you say you’ll go to sleep at 11 pm but sure enough it’s nearing 1 am and you’re several Wikipedia pages deep and your thumb is aching from Instagram scrolls then an eye massager might be a tool to consider. If your nighttime habits won’t be changing anytime soon then investing in something that might mitigate them is a wise idea. My main gripe with late nights isn’t just my sluggish mood the next day but my eye bags that look cravenly and bruised. A deep purple colour and with a puffiness that’s noticeable, not even a top of the range Nars concealer can hide. Promising to decrease fine lines and decrease these unsightly bags, an eye massager sounds like a godsend. But, is it??

What Does It Do?

Using a combination of LED light therapy and soft vibrations it supposedly soothes tired eyes, decreases the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines. The blue LED mode fights bacteria on the skin, and the red light mode stimulates collagen to combat wrinkles.

How Does It Feel?

Like you’ve rested a vibrator on your face. Go figure. That said, it’s not unpleasant, and it does actually massage my eye cream in quickly and effectively. Though I couldn’t really tell the difference between the two settings, I appreciated that it made me feel more away and made me feel more awake even if I didn’t necessarily look it.

What’s It Called?

SENSSE Eye Massager SNSE03 – sexy right?

How Much Does It Cost?

£29.99

Would I Recommend It?

I’m not convinced it’s doing anything, but someone told me I looked ‘well rested’, so you can’t knock that. Plus, it feels nice, and that placebo effect is working for me.
