The news may be awash with ridiculous jeans * cough transparent Topshop trousers, cough Vetement’s bum-zip Levi’s collab cough * but our eyes are firmly on denim of a different kind. White jeans have suffered from a bad rep for too long. It is possible – we swear – too wear them without looking Eurotrash-y or like an extra in an 80s Duran Duran video. Pick the right cut – namely high waist and straight leg – and wash (read: no distressing or stonewashing), and you’re on to a new season winner.
