By pass the odd pricey Isabel Marant jacket to die for (a little bit of jealousy never hurt anyone), and feast your eyes on the very best that Topshop, Zara and Adidas have to offer – all thrown together with a slathering of effortless chic.
Kavita Donkersley is a vintage hoarder turned actually good fashion blogger from Sheffield. She may have only just turned 22, but BOY does she know a thing or two about making cheap clothes look expensive. There’s a fair amount of faux leather and one or two crop tops to watch out for, but other than that, Kavita’s high street combos are pretty on the money. Oh and she also has a GREAT dip-dye too.
Canadian-born Gabrielle Lacasse is editor of lifestyle blog Dentelle + Fleurs and full-time insta girl-crush. Amongst slick images of what looks like basically the best brunches ever (pancake stacks, white crockery, exposed brickwork kinda vibe), are snaps of Gabrielle kitted out in what looks like Celine’s spring summer 2015 collection. It is here that lies the genius of the purse-friendly blogger – with a little help from American Apparel, Topshop, Asos, Forever 21 and some weird Canadian brands that we’ve never heard of (but are bloody good).

You know, the done-but- undone monochrome look we all try desperately to achieve but every time end up looking like a cross between Marcel Marceau and your great aunt Muriel? London-based knitwear designer Kristabel Plummer’s fashion and lifestyle blog, I want you to know, is the perfect antidote to the false and sickeningly pretentious world of typical fashion blogs (yeah I’m looking at you eastLondonstreetstyle.com). Think Urban Outfitters meets Beyond Retro, with Cos’s clean lines and tailored coats thrown in for a finishing fashy touch. Kristabel’s Insta combo of bright prints and infectious smile make for highly pleasurable tube-journey stalking sessions.
Sarah Lucy’s sixties’ inspired Insta-feed is a thing of peter-pan collared, polka-dotted beauty. The best bit? ALL her clothing is vintage and therefore CHEAP. Although quite obviously obsessed with fashion trends a past, Sarah’s looks are injected with a modern edge and look every bit as polished as they did on Jackie O.
