I Tried On Clothes From Kate Moss’ Favourite Shop Reserved

All I need now is a Rimmel lippy, a modeling contract and a leather trouser-wearing rockstar boyfriend, tbh

Clothes From Kate Moss’ Favourite Shop Reserved Fashion

Call me a basic bitch and offer me a pumpkin spice latte in a pink, diamante travel mug, but any clothing range with a pouty Kate Moss plastered on their posters every bus stop and motorway junction, I want in. I was* in* when I had to elbow my way into a crowded Topshop seven years ago to hopefully nab a £100 dress the timeless model championed at her launch and I’m definitely in, now that Slavic label Reserved has opened a branch in the UK (Oxford Street, ICYWW) with Kate Moss as their dazzling face.

So, what does Reserved look like on a normal (?!) human being who doesn’t survive on a diet of cigarettes, champagne and cute boys? Let’s just say it’s 50 shades of grunge, baby. If you needed another reason to check out the new in section, here are six.

1. ‘I’ve Nabbed My Older Boyfriend’s Coat, Because I Couldn’t Be Arsed’

The-Debrief-Changing-Room-Selfies-Reserved-Brand-Fashion-High-Street-1

Reserved, Aviator eco-leather jacket, £59.99; Reserved, ReDesign dress with lace bottom, £39.99

This monochrome, goth-meets-athleisure ensemble probably shouldn’t work, but oh, it so does! The shearling jacket so oversized I could fit a small pack of wolves inside. The midi dress with just the right amount of flirty lace on the hem. The white trainers are so bright it would make Kylie Jenner’s metallic lip kits look ‘meh’. Outfit goals, wouldn't you say?

2. ‘Oh, You Didn’t Say I Was Meeting Your Parents For The First Time TODAY, Err, Maybe My Earrings Will Distract Them From The...Tight...Leather…’

Reserved, Eco-leather dress, £34.99; Reserved, Boots with velvet shoelaces, £29.99

I’m not going to lie to you, dear reader, because I can tell you are here for some straight up fashion #inspo but, I didn’t like this dress at first. Nuh huh honey! Shirley from Eastenders called and she wants her frock back. But, after taking it off the hanger and actually trying it on, I am a convert. The puffball sleeves and the way it clinched me in the waist twould have Gok Wan hysterically crying with utmost joy. I’ll have ten of them, please.

3. ‘Er Babe, I Thought I Was Coming Round To Watch Films? It’s Cold And I Hate Football’

Reserved, ReDesign scarf, £12.99; Reserved, ReDesign wool coat, £109.99; Reserved, Wide leg trousers with side straps, £29.99, Reserved, Red velour shoes, £29.99

This ladies and gentlemen is my winter 2017 aesthetic. DON’T COPY ME, OKAY. I’m wearing the modern-day equivalent of the Juicy Couture velour tracksuit and I can't stop looking down. These trouser are the comfiest things in the whole world and despite me, essentially wearing a football scarf, I also feel like I have my shit together. Like I can go through my day knowing I am protected against all elements and am looking mighty babein' in the process.

4. ‘I Am Not Waving Around A Soddin Pom-Pom To Katy Perry's Firework AGAIN’

Reserved, Printed sweatshirt, £14.99; Reserved, Silver envelope skirt, £17.99

I wouldn't have normally clash an oversized, tomboy sweatshirt with a metallic mini skirt, but I also said I'd never be the kind of person who would order quinoa in a restaurant through sheer choice, but we often surprise ourselves don't we? This jumper is my favourite thing from of the entire edit ss its sleeves are so fabulously poofy and it's just the right amount of cropped. An absolute bargain, too.

5. 'Am I Harry Styles When All His Floral Suits Are In The Wash?'

Reserved, ReDesign wool coat, £109.99; Reserved, Eco-leather trousers, £19.99

If you had to describe my outfit you'd probably say 'chic', 'cool' and 'she definitely doesn't bumble into meetings spilling mugs of tea over her laptop' (I DO). I think it's very Harry Styles, which can never be a bad thing, can it? I would recommend buying the leather trousers in a size up though, especially if you're planning on eating pasta.

6. 'Don't Look At Me, I'm Hungover And Trying To Run Errands In Private'

*Reserved, Stripe dress, £29.99; Reserved, Patent-leather ankle boots, £24.99 *

I am loving the girly-to-effortless ratio, here. Also, I have found a dress that you can wear whenever you are bloated/hungover/it's a Monday and you want to look like you've tried a bit, which is frankly camp-out-at-your-computer-with-popcorn-and-a-litre-coke-bottle major. P.s the ankle boots are just sensational aren't they?
