8 Absolutely Fabulous Kate Moss Cameos You’ve Forgotten

Sorry, can we take a second for that Little Britain look

Kate Moss Cameos

She’s been called an It girl, a supermodel, a fashion icon, a British phenomena but the one place Kate Moss has not seen her dues is the world of the screen. Over the years Moss has racked up a whopping 70 IMDB credits! This daughter of a barmaid and a travel agent AKA Croydon’s most famous export has silently and slyly been banking screen time. And, it’s not like her turns in film and TV hasn't been brilliant and varied. One minute she’s Little Britain’s second favourite (conspicuously snobbish rendition of a) chav, the next she’s Maid Marian in* Black Adder*. For goodness sakes, this girl is a natural comedian. She’s got comic timing oozing from her (immaculate) pores and she can balances hubris with pathos with the best of them. Tune the wireless to channel Moss because here are eight times the modelling legend proved had acting chops, comic prowess and ability to take the piss out of herself….

1. Black Adder’s Love Intrigue

Moss swapped the champagne lifestyle for a TV set to play an easily disgruntled Maid Marian's to Rowan Atkinson's Edmund.

2. Pouting With French And Saunders’

Who can forget the wonderfully morose Misery Bear who not even Mossy can cheer up? Now if the fact that she acted alongside a temperamental inanimate object isn't evidence of her skills, nothing will be.

3. Getting Meta With Boy In The Dress

Proving she doesn't take herself too seriously Mossy played the archetypal CoverGirl for David Walliams' children's book adaptation.

4. Little Britain’s Only Real Chav

Iconic but also totally inappropriate in 2017. Moss played a 'total slag' while wearing an outfit that wouldn't look remotely off-key if it was being sold on Wavey Garms today.

5. Comic Relief’s Comedy Gold

Who can forget the wonderfully morose Misery Bear who not even Mossy can cheer up? Now if the fact that she acted alongside a temperamental inanimate object isn't evidence of her skills, nothing will be.

6. Tiny Dancer For Paul McCartney’s Queenie Eye Video

Ok, this barely shows off her acting chops, but when you consider how many music videos she's been in, it just highlights her diversity of talent. Need a little reminder? She's shaken her tailfeather for Johnny Cash's Delia's Gone and God's Gonna Cut You Down, Primal Scream's Kowalski and Some Velvet Morning, Elton John's Something About The Way You Look Tonight, Marianne Faithful's Sex with Strangers and The White Stripes's* I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself*.

7. The Best Gogglebox Guest

Move over Scarlet Moffatt, Moss is here and she has Monster Munch in hand.

8. Ab Fab The Movie

As the most recent airing of Moss the actress, this is one we all remember. And, not least because it was the saving grace of an abysmal film. To give credit where credit is due, Moss was a good sport as she toppled from a balcony and drowned in the Thames to get this marvellous shot.
