Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are dating. You know that because everyone knows. Even my Mum knows and she doesn't know who Leonardo Dicaprio is.
Lots of people though, think this new couple is erm, fake. Here's why.
1. The James Bond Thing
According to 'sources' (those guys) who spoke to noted fountain of truth This Hollywood Life:
'Tom is making a huge power play dating Taylor in his quest to be the next James Bond,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Producers are desperate for the next Bond to be a universal name that will boost the brand worldwide, especially in America. Tom’s not silly. he knows by hooking up with Taylor he will give himself the best opportunity in securing the part. After all, a romance with arguably the biggest pop star on the planet will guarantee you huge coverage and that can only strengthen his hand in getting the role. This will certainly make him clear favorite now, ahead of the likes of Aidan Turner, Idris Elba and Tom Hardy who have all been mentioned.'
2. The Kimye thing
Around the same time, Kim Kardashian did a little cover shoot for a little magazine called GQ. It was nbd, apart from the fact that she looked great and said some interesting things. Namely that Taylor knew the whole time about that Kanye lyric ('I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous') that she called out at the Grammys.
From GQ 'She totally approved that,' Kim says, shaking her head in annoyance. 'She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn't. I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved. It was funny because [on the call with Kanye, Taylor] said, ‘When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I'm so against this, and I'll just laugh and say, "The joke's on you, guys. I was in on it the whole time." And I'm like, wait, but [in] your Grammy speech, you completely dissed my husband just to play the victim again.'
3. The Calvin Harris thing
Calvin Harris and Rihanna had a video out the day after the pictures came out. You might have heard about it. Or you might not. If not, it's probably because you were looking at pictures of his ex-girlfriend making out with The Night Manager.
4. The Spencer Pratt thing
Those pictures in The Sun were very weird. Very weird indeed. Spencer Pratt knew they were weird. Spencer Pratt reckons they were faked. Spencer Pratt did something for Cosmo the other day and said;
I think someone on one of their teams may have tipped off the paparazzi, and I think it may have been his team since it was the Sun, a British tabloid, that got the exclusive," he told Cosmopolitan.
'Then again, she's Taylor Swift, and there have to be people who see her walking to the beach and call a tabloid. But, if that's the case, we haven't seen any fan pics, and that's what makes me think it's an exclusive [to the paparazzi]. ... It's definitely a staged photo.'
5. The Karlie Kloss thing
If you're well versed in the inner workings of the Swift-machine fandom, you'll know that there's a group of 'Swifties' who enjoy shipping Taylor Swift and best mate and Victoria's Secret Model Karlie Kloss. As in 'Kaylor'.
These people are really mad about the Taylor and Tom thing. 'does taylor srsly think we will forget how she hung onto karlie at the 1975 concert by attending concerts with her beards?' Says one user on the Forevermorekaylor Tumblr.
'sorry @taylor but u have deeply offended us by thinking we’d buy this shit u r pulling up. u have disrespected the gays now watch us retaliate and reblog the shit out of u shamelessly throwing urself at karlie…' Says another.
