We religiously devote an hour of our time each week escaping to the scandalous borough of Chelsea and quadruple the time discussing the frivolous fun, frolics (and sometimes fights) we have just guiltily indulged in. How good are Tuesday mornings when you arrive in work, hobnob in hand, ready to discuss in full-length about who cheated on who?! Which popular culture reference did Mark Francis not know! What outfit Jess Woodley was rocking!
We probably see the Made In Chelsea cast more often than our actual friends (note: remember to call friends) and we have seen so much of Jamie Laing we probably have technically dated him.
So, we got a chance to hang out with some oldies but goodies Stephanie Pratt, Oliver Proudlock and Francis Boulle at Made in Chelsea Presents and asked them some very important questions. You know the only stuff we didn’t know, like Pret orders, regrets and life quotes to live by...
Hey guys! So, first things first, who is the one person in life who you can confide in about anything?
Proudlock: My girlfriend Emma. I fucking love her, she’s the best.
Steph: It would be Ollie Locke, because I can’t talk to my parents about sexual things.There’s no judgement with him because he’s seen everything...girls...boys… I can tell him anything!
Francis: Probably Fredrick. We’ve grown up together, we were roommates at boarding school. We’ve known each other since we were 13.
What’s something you regret?
Steph: Hooking up with Spencer drunk in Venice! It was so stupid.
Proudlock: No regrets. None. That’s my motto!
Steph: Wait that should have been mine!
Francis: I try not to dwell on regret.
What’s your favourite song to listen to on a Sunday afternoon train?
Steph: Starboy, or Tinie Tempah - Girls Like.
Proudlock: No, Steph it's supposed to be mellow! I listen to my mellow spotify playlist which has some of the old classics.. A few contemporary.. A nice mix. Stand by me is such a tune.
Steph: Ok so mellow? Phill Collins - In The Air Tonight.
Francis: A really lovely song is Bloom by The Paper Kites. I was listening to it last Sunday on a train actually.
Do you ever watch yourself back on the TV? Do you have a viewing party like Selasi from GBBO?
Francis: I don’t generally watch myself. I don’t have editorial control, so whatever they do, they do.
Proudlock: No, I don’t. I don’t google myself, but I do check my Twitter occasionally. I’ve been away a lot so I’ve missed the show. If I’m home on a Monday night I might watch it, but I won’t purposefully sit down to watch it.
Steph: Same as me, if I'm home and it’s on I will probably watch it. I will avoid it though if I’ve done something embarrassing! Ignorance is bliss! We used to have viewing parties, but it would get savage!
Proudlock: Yeah it would get awkward.
What’s your biggest fear?
Steph: Being murdered.
Proudlock: Anyone would not enjoy that! I’m not into snakes, I watched Planet Earth the other day.. Dark. Or going in the Big Brother house.
Francis: Fear itself.
Who do you want to win The X Factor?
Francis: I don’t know anyone who is on it.
Steph: Anyone but Honey G, now that she’s famous she’s so rude!
Proudlock: I really enjoyed her energy! I think the best voice is Saara Aalto, she won’t win though. I’m gonna say 5 After Midnight.
What’s your go to Pret order for lunch?
Proudlock: I’m a big fan of the chicken and avocado sandwich. Occasionally I go for one of the wraps. And a small ginger and apple shot? Banging!
Steph: I love the egg sandwich and a blueberry muffin.
Francis: I go for the macaroni cheese, it’s quite delicious. Or a chicken and avocado sandwich.
What’s a quote that you live by?
Proudlock: Don’t just love it, live it.
Steph: Mine is probably ‘just wing it!’
Francis: Patience can move mountains.
How much of the show is real?
Proudlock: All of it.
Francis: All of it. Completely real. 100%.
Steph: All of it, I cried every day last year!
