Emma Bunton Denies Spice Girls Reunion Story, Breaks Our Hearts

MAYBE the whole thing's been put on hold until Victoria says yes?

The Spice Girls WILL Reunite, But Alas, Not Easy V

UPDATE: Emma Bunton has denied the whole thing on her radio show on Heart FM saying: 'Nothing's happening at the moment. If anything happens and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know.' BOOOO. Way to dangle the dream and snatch it away. Enjoy your Fridays :(

Almost three years after the Spice Girls performed at the London Olympics closing ceremony, they’ve got a massive announcement to make. They’ll be reuniting for the 20th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe! Not only will Geri Halliwell (now Horner), Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton get together to perform, though, they’ll be doing an actual TOUR of their greatest hits, reports The Sun.

As Wannabe was released in late summer of 1996, expect the tour around the same time in 2016… we don’t know about you, but we’ll be booking tickets as close to the front as possible.

One major (and we mean maaajah) member of the band we’ve left out of the above line-up is Posh Spice, or, well, Victoria Beckham. Because Easy V doesn’t come for free, nor even the hefty sum she would’ve been promised for the tour dates, as she’s way more focused on being a serious designer these days.

That said, she still offered her support to the rest of the girls yesterday, Tweeting a photo of an old tour programme:

Can they get a hologram of her instead? Or Dane Bowers to don a wig in her place? Somehow, despite her contribution to singing being… well, what it is, we’re going to miss her presence in the line-up.
