Is Shia LaBeouf a style icon? Apparently so.

The actor has been talking about how much Kanye West loves his style in an interview with Esquire where he reveals that Kanye; ‘took all [his] fucking clothes.’

And it turns out that he’s not joking, LaBeouf said when Kanye came over to his house to discuss a collaboration, Kanye asked for some of LaBeouf’s clothes for a pop-up shop, and he obliged; ‘It just felt fair,' he told Esquire. 'So I’m like, “Go for it, my guy. Take everything you want.” And he did. He took all my fucking clothes.'

Does this mean all these Yeezy seasons have actually been LeBeezy seasons? Madness.

Well, ‘I wish I dressed as fresh as Shia LaBeouf’ is an actual line that Kanye West has rapped before, on his track No More Parties in L. A.

Waist Belt Wide Enough To Be Seen From Space: Guilty

The untold damage that Gok Wan and his obsession with five-finger-wide waist-cinching belts inflicted on the women of the world can be clearly summed up by this picture. Poor Kim, she's 95% belt.

Graduated Sunglasses: Guilty

Many like to think their ombre story started with their hair, but it can actually be traced back to the summer of '07 when '70s style aviators were trailblazing the trend.

Footless Tights: Guilty

Some liked to call these leggings, but you only ever realised how low the denier really was when you bent over. Kim, like all of us, was so caught up in the footless tights mania of 2007 that she embraced them even when they were the colour of accidents. Sadly, we've all been there.

Dangerous Levels Of Lipgloss: Guilty

There was always a balance between getting the perfect level of wet-look shine and still being able to prize your lips open.

When asked if he’s reached out to Kanye lately, LaBeouf says; ‘Of course, bro. I fucking love Kanye West. He’s going through a lot. And I don’t know where he’s at or what he’s doing.’

Well, wherever Kanye is, he’s probably still wearing LaBeouf’s clothes, last year Kanye was spotted wearing the exact cap that LaBeouf had worn previously, ‘The dude has a lot of my shit,’ he comments.

So what are some of LeBeouf’s style secrets?

The actor says he likes to wear clothes with a personal history, saying that it makes him feel safe; for the interview he wore a blue shirt from the set of a film he was in and a hat he bought on a trip to Germany that he scribbled on with marker to ‘make his own’. He describes his style as ‘blue collar’ – a mix of military and athleisure.

Kanye isn’t the only one that’s noticed LaBeouf’s style credentials, there’s a whole Instagram account dedicated to his outfits.

Happy scrolling.
