There’s drama in the original girl squad. The original girl squad (even though that word is well and truly dead, thanks Taylor Swift) being the Spice Girls, obvs. According the The Mirror, Mel C is not happy with the news that Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Mel B are planning to form a trio under the Spice Girls name.
She is allegedly seeking legal advice as she ‘believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her.’ Which I wholeheartedly believe, but also maybe just join them? Make everyone happy. It’s like when your friend tells you you can’t wear white gold hoops because they are her thing (yes I stole this from Mean Girls) but then she never ever wears gold hoops and wants nothing to do with them.
It was originally reported that the band would be reuniting as a trio called GEM (stands for Geri, Emma and Mel, FYI) in time for they 21st anniversary in London’s Hyde Park. But according to Mel B, GEM was just the same of their new website. So, will they, won’t they? Will Mel C suck it up and just let the girls do their thing. Will Victoria Beckham ever put on the black mini dress and join them on stage? We have no clue whatsoever but if they could all just make up and be friends that would be fantastic.
