This Emotional Video Explains Where Kylie Jenner’s Been The Last Few Months

The gig is up, you guys. I’m sorry but all of those wild conspiracy theories about Kylie Jenner secretly being Kim’s surrogate and the umming and ahhing about whether or not she was even pregnant in the first placecan all be put to rest now. Kylie Jenner has given birth to a baby girl, and she told the world in a pretty (typically) Kardashian way – on social media.

On Sunday night Kylie shared her first Instagram post since Christmas Day. It was a screenshot of a written explanation for why she’s been keeping her head down of late. It read: I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me brining you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world’

‘I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the mot positive, stress free and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.’

The format may be a little unusual for the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, whose face we’reso used to seeing artfully lit across Instagram without so much as a caption for context, but it does call into question how much we expect to see of this 20-year-old young woman’s life, and how much she should be expected to ‘explain’ taking a month break away from the limelight to go through this huge, incredible process.

‘pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it’, Kylie went on to explain. ‘I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could.

‘My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this I could burst! Thank you for understanding’.

Shortly after, Kylie shared a teaser for a documentary-style video of her 9 month pregnancy journey. Filmed by videographer friend Tyler Ross, it shows lots of snippets of intimate milestone moments of Kylie's pregnancy journey.

The video, which in it's first ten hours has already racked up almost 20 million views, we see a shot of Kris Jenner in the maternity ward just after giving birth to Kylie before cutting to a clip of BFF Jordyn Woods talking to the camera at Kylie's top secret baby shower last year, telling the story of the moment she found out that Kylie was pregnant.

There are romantic shots of Kylie and Travis cuddling in the sea, on sofas and backstage at one of his shows. There are clips of Kylie's ultrasound, a message from mum Kris about how great of a mother Kylie will be and we also get a proper look at Kim Kardashian's baby Chicago too. It's all very sweet and emotional. You can watch the full video below.
