Taylor Swift fans have bombarded Kardashian’s Instagram with rat emojis after Kim Kardashian appeared to throw major shade at the Look What You Made Me Do singer in an Instagram post.
The controversial picture, which has over 1.5 million likes on the social media site, shows Kim taking photos at Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ exhibition at Los Angeles gallery Blum and Poe. The exhibition featured the music video’s most (ahem) in-Famous prop – a giant sculpture of Kanye in bed with a naked Taylor Swift lookalike, as well as a host of well-known personalities, such as Donald Trump, Caitlyn Jenner and Rihanna.
Kim simply labelled the post with the word 'Famous'.
It's a word that is much more than just a song title for Taylor and her fandom, as the song included lyrics that mocked the singer ('I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous.') Taylor voiced her displeasure on social media at the time, but Kim fought back, leaking audio of Swift approving the lyrics. Taylor later claimed that she had not heard the full track, and according to Rolling Stone, there is no recording of Swift listening to and approving that particular lyric. Despite this, Kim K fans took to Taylor's Instagram to brand her a snake - bombarding her with snake emojis. Taylor's Instagram account became the first account to filter out unwanted comments.
So maybe this is why Taylor Swift superfans have flooded Kim K's Instagram with rat emojis. Just being called a rat would be shade enough, but fans have also commented that 'snakes eat rats', suggesting that Taylor might soon get her revenge.
The latest incident is just one of a series of feuds between Taylor and Kimye after Kanye famously upstaged Taylor at the 2009 VMAs, when she won the award for Best Female Video.
