Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are officially back together, cementing their rekindled relationship with a kiss at an ice hockey game. Having presumably just scored a goal by flinging a puck into the net, Justin then puckered up for Selena, who was watching from the sidelines.
The pair, who were together from 2010 until 2014, which you might remember as the year Bieber got arrested for a DUI and punched by Orlando Bloom (who was rumoured to have dated Selena, and whose ex-wife Miranda Kerr was rumoured to have spent some…time with Bieber), have recently been seen cycling together. As the story goes, Justin has had his years in the wilderness and concerned for Selena’s health, he’s sought to reignite their passions. She’s been wooed by him and lo, the couple are reunited.

Selena’s health struggles include a diagnosis of lupus and a subsequent kidney transplant (donated from a very loyal friend), and it seems reasonable that she’s after a wholesome sort of life. And it also seems like Justin, who’s rumoured to have ‘rededicated’ his life to Christ, is ready to settle down, or at least no longer date a string of identikit Selena-a-likes. He predicted the couple’s second act a while ago, telling Ellen DeGeneres: ‘We have a lot of history together so it could possibly happen. I think we're both just on our own journeys, figuring ourselves out and once we've figured ourselves out we could maybe come together and make an awesome duo.’
Of course, the pair will have to get over the fact that they’ve both been seeng other people: Selena used to date The Weeknd, who is rumoured to be getting back with Bella Hadid, and Justin, well, Justin’s been Justin, and only a month ago was rumoured to be dating Paula Paolin, going so far as to take her to church with him.
But otherwise, it sort of makes perfect sense that the pair could be back together. As we previously detailed, getting back with an ex can always be sensible. But on top of this, Selena and Justin have spent a lot of time growing up together in the spotlight and have not only the shared history of being a couple, but the shared history of being a famous couple. Also, they used to look a lot more like each other than they do now, right? That must make things a little easier.
