A Few Easy Spiralizing Recipes To Master So You Don't Get Food FOMO

HEY GUYS DO YOU SPIRALIZE BECAUSE I SPIRALIZE AND IF YOU DON'T SPIRALIZE THEN WHO EVEN ARE YOU.

We're big old fans of the Hemsley sisters over here, A) Because the seem very nice people, B) because they taught us that eating healthily doesn't mean you have to give up meat and C) because they do dress ever so well. Also, they brought spiralizing to the people with their infamous courgetti.

In case you've been hiding yourself under a pile of McDonalds, pizza and ice cream for the past year (and if so, more power to you sister), a spiralizer is a handy kitchen tool that basically takes hard fruit and veg and makes laces of of it. They can be kind of expensive, the Hemsley and Hemsley one is £30, and currently sold out, but you can get budget versions for around £7. Mine's from Amazon and it works just fine. Also I like the picture because it looks filthy.

We tried to spiralize some stuff ourselves but things didn't go according to plan...

Croissant

Banana

Mars Bar

Anyways, because we're clearly shit at this whole thing, here's a few actually good uses of your spiralizer.

Courgetti

The food that sparked the trend. We're partial to this excellent budget recipe from The Londoner for Slutty No Carb pasta.

Sweet Potato

Ali's got an entire blog dedicated to spiralizing. And her garlic sweet potato with pancetta recipe is the shit.

Carrrots

Perhaps the reason everyone's gone batshit mental (rather than just mental) over spiralizing in the past few weeks is the prospect of summer salad. This Moroccan Salad from A Cosy Kitchen is super.
