Because we want to wear them NOW, damnit.

Fashion Week always makes me a little impatient. Looking at the beauty and and fashion trends for next winter - when we haven’t even reached spring yet (I’m still wearing thermals to bed). That’s why I’m throwing caution to the wind - and letting you know that, actually, you can wear the AW15 beauty looks right now. Because I said so.

Here’s six of my favourite looks from the AW15 runways that you can try out straight away.

Reclaiming The Rhinestone

I’m not talking about the ones Jessica Simpson used to have on the back of her tracksuit (although they were clearly awesome). These gems are for your face. At Rodarte a silver string of 10 Swarovski was glued underneath the eyes. We reckon make-up artists James Kaliardos was using Frozen as a reference point. Using eyelash glue, try carefully placing these gems from Claire’sunder your lower-lash line, for a little bit of Elsa-esque sparkle.

Grunge Black Lips

An almost black lip; that sounds like a make-up disaster, doesn’t it? Not so as Isamaya French for MAC, proved. A bold look, sure, but one I’m desperate to try. Use MAC’s Lipmix in Black and Crimson to get the vampy shade on point, add gloss in layers to complete the look.

**Disco-Ball Eyes **

Make-up definitely got all arts and craft on us this season. At Temperley, make-up Queen Val Garland put teeny-tiny sequins in blue or gold all over the lids. Sure, not the subtlest of looks but a killer look with an all-black outfit on your next night out. You can pick up packs of miniature sequins online for dead cheap and be sure to invest in some good eyelash glue like Duo so you don’t go crying sequins throughout the night.

**The Fob **

Bobs are everywhere right now: you’ve got the Lob (long bob), the Mob (messy bob) and now, the Fob (faux bob) has surfaced at HoH where black silky scarves were tied around the neck and the hair to keep it tucked in. Forget hats, the chic scarf hair-tuck has become our new go-to on bad hair days. Try this Dickins & Jones watermelon print scarf as a more spring-like alternative to Henry’s.

House of Holland

Scarlet Fever Lips

The red lip always gets a shout-out at Fashion Week one way or another and this season did not fail us. This isn’t your classic true-red shade though, but a matte, slightly orange tone. Handily we’ve already got a super easy desk hack that’ll help you re-create it so you can be well on your way to being a cool Shrimps girl, asap.

**The Pound Shop Up Do **

I never thought pound shops and fashion week would collide but, hallelujah, it’s happened and I couldn’t be happier. Anthony Turner for L’Oreal Professionnel scrape hair back, twisted it into a bun, and secured with one of these plastic babies instead of a hairband. The best bit? The quicker you do it, the better it looks. So easy and 80s; I’m all over it.
