OK, so a bit of artistic licence is needed to see the similarities here; we acknowledge that Christopher Kane’s lava clutch had floating multicoloured goo in it, like that lamp you had in your lilac and turquoise bedroom when you had B*Witched on repeat. Hence, it was awesome.
But we would argue this plain version by ASOS is even better. Kane’s was smaller and see through – meaning even if you could fit tampons in it, the world would see them. This clutch has the same plasticky oil-slick appeal, without the embarrassment.
And yes, it's £18. Meaning it's the perfect party bag that you can chuck around the pub and not feel stressed about. Bonus.
