A poor bus driver spent six months on bail for watching a video of a tiger having a sex with a woman - except it wasn't a tiger. It was a man dressed as a tiger. Sent by his mates as a joke in 2009, the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the case six months later when they finally watched the end of the video - where the so-called 'tiger' says to the camera: 'That's grrrrrrrrrrrrreat' a la Tony The Tiger. Yes, this is real thing that has actually happened in the world.

Nine months later, similar charges were also dropped after Mr. Holland viewed a video deemed as ultra-violent called The Pain Olympics, but turned out to be a spoof made with prosthetics, ketchup and cocktail sausages. The moral of the story? Er, make sure the video you're threatening someone to go to prison for watching isn't a joke one. And doesn't involve Tony the Tiger slogans or party food.

Mr. Holland, 51, has had a really rough time of it thanks to the high calibre of tiger costume the guy in the video was wearing - he was unable to see his daughter for a year, and suffered a campaign of abuse, branded a pervert and a paedophile (which makes no sense, you know because it was a tiger), when, in fact, he had done nothing wrong. And only watched six seconds of the offending tiger video. 'I lost my job, I had to move and I ended up having a heart attack with all the stress of it,' he told The Independent. 'People were ringing me in the middle of the night. Three young lads turned up at my door and were calling me everything. I was threatened on more than one occasion.'

The 2008 law for the possession of a pornographic image labelled 'extreme' deals with necrophilia, bestiality, threatens someone's life or could cause serious illness to breasts, anus or genitals. This should act as a wakeup call to the courts, though, to take the videos seriously and make sure they're not spoofs before ruining someones life.
