In Texas, if a man and a woman live together for a length of time and verbally say they’re married then, erm, they’re married. A guy called Hefe Wine who used to be Iggy’s manager, as well as her ex-boyfriend, has filed divorce papers claiming that they ‘agreed to be married, holding themselves out as man and wife and began residing together in the State of Texas on or about September 2008’.

He’s demanding that Iggy doesn’t sell various assets they acquired during their marriage and, if the judge recognises the union, all her music would be split 50/50 between them.
Since they broke up, Hefe (real name Maurice Williams) and Iggy have been fighting over the rights to her music, which she wrote while they were together and is worth millions of dollars.
Iggy’s people are denying that the ‘marriage’ ever happened, saying this is a desperate money grab.
The 24 year-old rapper is currently dating basketball star Nick Lake, and has been for a year.
