Lena Dunham has released a bunch of short videos on YouTube, in which she doles out advice on dealing with bullies, sleeping with people who are mean to you, and how to stop having horrible sex.

Sitting in a pretty sweet-looking fake office, between ordering rare hamburger patties and dancing around with her dog, Lena advises girls on issues close to her own heart, including being overweight and feminism.

As far her weight goes, she says she was actually least happy when she was at her skinniest, and didn’t have sex the entire, miserable time: ‘I’ve been a bunch of different weights and being temporarily 135lbs, I was so obsessed with food. I was so into counting almonds, I don’t of think I got laid that entire time, whereas when I was at my biggest and running around Brooklyn in a romper, it was raining men.’

One particularly interesting question came from a girl who wondered if her skimpy clothing was at odds with her personal political feminist views, asking, 'Can I still be a feminist even if I dress provocatively?'

‘A huge part of being a feminist is giving other women the freedom to make choices you might not necessarily make yourself,’ was Lena’s response ‘and so, just like we should respect women who cover up for reasons of shyness or modesty or religious beliefs, just as we have to allow for that, we have to allow for the women who want to walk down the street in booty shorts’

There’s a total of 12 videos on YouTube right now, and although there’s no word on if she will upload more in the coming six days leading up to the release of Not That Kind Of Girl, we’re really, really hoping she will. She gives such good advice; she and Taylor Swift much just blow each other’s minds with their sheer wisdom.

Here’s video #1 entitled ‘Questionable Feminist’. The rest are all on the Not That Kind Of Girl YouTube channel.
