She threw in a pig emoji for good measure

She’s hardly what one would call 'overweight', but since gaining 25lbs a couple of years ago, Lady Gaga has been called fat on several occasions by trolls on her Twitter and Instagram pages.

The trolls were out in force over the weekend after she performed in Las Vegas, so she posted a (professional) shot of herself posing on a car in a white fluffy coat with bare legs and a pair of heels. She captioned it ‘Curvy and proud’ and added the pig emoji.

Now, don’t get us wrong, we’re all about curve pride and calling out fat-shamers, but we wouldn’t look at that photo and think, ‘Wow – look at those curves!’ she just looks… normal. And, actually, quite slim, for that matter.

And let’s talk about the pig emoji. Is she suggesting she is ‘pig-like’ for not being a stick figure? We get where she’s coming from in terms of, ‘Fuck you, haters,’ but, Gaga, we don’t think you’re overweight.

Or maybe the pig emoji was just a little ‘as if’ moment? In which case, we agree.
