Brooklyn Beckham Does Work Experience With Guy Ritchie

After lessons in basic cockney rhyming slang and flat cap wearing, 15-year-old Brooklyn presumably spent the rest of the week learning something about film making

On top of his actual part time job as a barista, Brooklyn Beckham, the oldest of David and Victoria’s brood, has taken up a bit of work experience. But of course, he's Brooklyn Beckham, his work experience wasn’t just photocopying files in the tucked-away, un-airconditioned room of a tiny company that no-one has heard of.

With celebrity connections dripping off his parents like the dubious fashion choices of yore, it’s no wonder that he got linked up to shadow none other than Guy Ritchie. Just in case you’re not well-versed in mockney film directors once married to Madonna, that’s what Guy Ritchie is – Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is perhaps his best-known film.

Brooklyn, 15, arrived at Guy's home, notepad in hand, before walking into work with him near Oxford Street each day, reported The Sun on Sunday. He then spent about five hours each day shadowing the film director.

Unless Brooklyn was made to archive stills from that time Guy Ritchie filmed an advert for H&M with David running about in nothing but his pants, this is all pretty much in keeping with the idea that those with well-connected parents will land a cushy bit of work experience. However, what’s pretty notable here is that Brooklyn wasn’t only dropped off by dad David in his blacked-out Jaguar with no number plates, but picked up later on by one of the Beckhams’ housekeeping team. And then at the end of the week? He jetted off with the family to watch the World Cup final… the Beckhams, The Sun on Sunday reports, are keen 'to keep his feet on the ground.'
