17-year-old Georgia hailing teen Kane Zipperman became a 'celebrity' overnight when he reportedly found out his girlfriend was cheating on him with his best friend and proceeded to break up with her via a series of (we hate to say it) hilarious memes.

Having screen-shotted the break-up conversation and posting it to his Twitter account, Kane's tweet instantly went viral, racking up over 81,000 retweets and gaining him upwards of 30,000 new followers overnight. (Read the whole thing here.)

His new internet celebdom certainly seems to have helped him get over his heartbreak pretty fast, too. Kane has since been interviewed by publications around the world, including CCN and his lols keep flowing. ""There's no such thing as bad publicity." -Wolf of Wall Street" he's since tweeted.

Yup, he's pretty psyched about the whole thing: "I'm pretty much the Martin Luther King for people who have been cheated on," he also took to his Twitter to say in the days after having gone viral. Ahh how a little fame can get to ones head so quickly will never fail to amuse.

Judging by his Twitter feed though, he's not the only one to think that, with people the world over fangirling over him and doing the social media equivalent of giving him a standing ovation. According to his Twitter account he's even been offered slots at various stand up comedy shows the country over.

Errmm.. we guess you could say every cloud has a silver lining. Even if that cloud is losing your girlfriend and your best friend, and the silver lining is temporary internet celeb-dom.

Yikes! One thing's for sure, we definitely wouldn't want to be that girl! Kinda brings to mind the whole revenge porn debacle. Regardless of what someone's done to hurt you, does it ever warrant slamming someones reputation all over the Internet? As Kane Zipperman demonstrated, you never know how far that tweet (or whatever it may be) will go.
