Despite sharing the moniker of an ancient biblical figure who was most recently played by Russell Crowe in that epic film of the same name, Noah is actually Miley’s sister. And she’s 14.
She’s a child star, too, having started her career aged three playing Gracie Herbert in a show called *Doc *(no, us neither). She also played ‘various minor roles’ in Hannah Montana. And just like older sister Miley, she’s done some singing. Teaming up with the littlest Jonas brother, Frankie, she sang the theme tune for Disney film Ponyo in 2008.
Which reminds us of that time Miley collaborated with Joe Jonas. Not quite on a song, but according to an exposé he wrote on being a teen star, her and Demi Lovato were with him when he first smoked weed: ‘I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying: “Try it! Try it!” so I gave it a shot, and it was all right.’ Which, funnily enough, places Miley as 14 years old when it happened, exactly the same age Noah is right now…
Anyway, back to Noah. What does she do? She dresses really well, is consistently loyal to the top-bun (apart from when she tries out some plaits), has 1.2m Instagram followers (10 per cent of Miley’s 10m) and has a really cool Tumblr page called Seize The Daisies, where she shares mostly black-and-white images of some really beautiful things. Lots of the images are of models, and some are of celebrities such as Rihanna being sassy, Miranda Kerr wearing very little, Beyoncé in the Flawless video, Angelina Jolie in some hazy footage that’s probably older than Noah, Lorde smiling and pouting in equal measure, and Kim Kardashian just being Kim. She also favours Céline and Givenchy, monochrome forming a strong aesthetic basis for the Tumblr. It’s altogether a lot less kaleidoscopic than Miley’s social media output, and we’re way into it.
Make sure you give it a look before she deletes it, though, as quite a few teenagers around her age are doing – she’s selectively deleting loads of photos on her profile. Any more hidden members of the Cyrus clan we need to find out about? We hope so!
