This one's going to get the Beliebers preparing for battle - because their beloved Justin might be about to be deported from the USA. Over 100,000 people (and counting) have filed a petition on the White House website, demanding that the recently wayward popstar, who is a Canadian citizen, should be exiled from the States.

Their reason? Not only his 'dangerous, reckless, destructive and drug abusing' but more because 'we the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture.'

They don't cite any specifics in that regards – though we'd hazard a guess they might have been referring to Boyfriend){href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boyfriend_(Justin_Bieber_song)' target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer'} or All That Matters – but the petition also calls on Barack Obama to revoke the pop star’s Green Card as 'he is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation's youth'.

All well and good, but there are a few flaws around this plan. One, that the Obama kids Sasha and Malia are renowned for being Beliebers (and we can't imagine deportation going down well with them). And second, Americans have previously tried to rid themselves of smug paper editor-turned-pundit Piers Morgan after he launched his very own gun control campaign, using exactly the same technique of an e-petition. But it didn't work.

Maybe, just maybe, the best way to get rid of a troublesome celebrity migrant is to make him marry then divorce one of America's sweethearts – that certainly saw self-professed funnyman Russell Brand running home after his brief marriage to Katy Perry. And, um, Justin is already mates with Katy Perry. So it could happen… we mean, if a mop-topped Canadian tween can eventually grow up to make it to the front pages for driving 60mph down a road in a shiny yellow car, anything could happen!
