You can always make some assumptions about Burberry: the show will be mega ladylike; Cara, Edie and Jourdan will strut; Harry Styles will be on the FROW and there will be some hauntingly ethereal live performances from British artists that have caught the eye of Christopher Bailey – a creative designer who is always on the cultural pulse. But what happened at today's AW14 show?
Here are your Burberry bites:**

1. The look was all global traveller meets Virginia Woolf

Part '70s Talitha Getty nomad, part ethereal watercolours, this was a floaty boho-luxe collection (a departure from their fitted pencil skirt + shirt silhouette last season), with printed silks and oversized Aztec holdalls. Everything had a heavy whiff of the romantic traveller.
2. The styling was 'undone' done

A nice little oxymoron for you to get your noggin around, there. The midi-length silk dresses, loose wavy hair and open-toe sandals were all very Olivia Palermo Park Avenue Princess, sure – but the belts were worn over undone coats (we've seen lots of cinching of undone coats around, btw) and there were gigantic monogrammed scarves (with Cara's CJD initials evoking a few snickers on Twitter) thrown over one shoulder, which gave it a slightly rumpled air. If the Burberry show was on Instagram, it would be sepia. A bit languorous, a bit warmly lit.
3. Bradley Cooper sat in between Harold Tillman and Anna Wintour, watching his girlfriend Suki Waterhouse walk

This doesn't definitely mean that a Suki Waterhouse for US Vogue cover is in the offing. But in the same way that the rumour mill went into overdrive when Anna Wintour's Lego bob was seen to be brushing gently against Kendall Jenner's inky teenage tresses on the FROW at Topshop Unique yesterday it does mean that we aren't counting it out, yeah?
4. If AW14 was supposed to mean a literal translation of an Autumnal palette, then Burberry excelled
On the AW14 catwalk, we spotted a mustard faux fur teddy bear coat, creamy open-toed embroidered sandals, earthy brown sheepskin peacoats, rust coloured silk side-split maxi dresses and arty pastel watercolour silk floral dresses and matching scarves belted into one another.
5. The live performances at AW14 were ace
