While most of us went through embarrassingly bad musical taste as tweens, it seems Lorde skipped that awkward stage. This clip of the New Zealand singer at 12 years old shows she was actually always cool, choosing to sing a Cult song, as well as a Ritchie Blackmore's* *Rainbow number in her school battle of the bands. So, come on, everyone, surely this has got to be the final nail in the age-shaming Lorde scandal. Please.
