Amy Adams broke down in tears in an interview filmed just three days after the death of former co-star Philip Seymour Hoffman, saying: "I just don't know how much more I can talk about it right now, sorry".
Adams was being interviewed by James Lipton for Inside the Actors Studio when she was asked about Hoffman, with whom she starred in Charlie Wilson's War, Doubt and The Master.
"I just really loved him, and I know so many people did. He was a beautiful spirit and he had this unique ability to see people, to really see them, not look through them. He just really saw people, and he will be missed".
The interview was filmed just two days before Adams attended the funeral of Hoffman, who died following an apparent overdose in his West Village apartment.
Meanwhile, Valentino was forced to apologize to Adams after it sent out a press release alerting journalists to images of her carrying one of its bags. The photos were taken as Adams attended Hoffman’s wake, which Valentino said it was not aware of at the time.
